Back from Rome

Well I am back from my visit with Brannon. The shows were both great and she really stole the show in "The Secret Garden". Last night we went to a Halloween party with some of her friends and also went and played some poker at the mansion that she was house sitting. Always a fun time when I am in Rome. (GA that is) Tonight I have a date with Erin, a little dinner and a movie and then Ms Johnson and I will be joining her sister and Michael in going to a Halloween party at Leki's Thai. My second date with her, scary....been awhile since I've had a second date. I would have to measure time in years..... Well here is to a good time and hopefully some more in the future!

Back in action

Well I am glad this last week is over with. Work sucked big time, with yesterday morning being the worst. The cook didn't show up till noon which left me by myself at breakfast and since I can't cook that wasn't good at all. Luckly the rest of the lunch crew showed up early so we were able to pull together and get lunch fixed before we opened. On a brighter note since last sunday I have won $160 from the Auburn and Alabama games. Also last night I went on a double date with Michael and Laura and her sister Erin. We went to see Team America World Police, my 3rd time to see it, and then us minus Laura and plus Gabe went to 1048 and had a couple drinks while sitting on the porch talking. Over all a very good evening, and hopefully we can do it again soon. That was also my fist date since September of last year so that was nice to finally break out of that little slump.

I only work 3 days this week since I am leaving Thursday and coming back Saturday night to see Brannon in Rome,GA. She is in The Secret Garden, at Shorter and it is a one night only play so I'm going as the representative for the old gang. There is suppose to be a constume contest too on Friday night we are going too so that should be interesting. I guess that is all for now.

America,...$#%^ YA!!!!!

I'm half-way done watching Part 1 of Fist of the North Star, which is 5 dvds and about 45 episodes. Its been bloody, violent good fun. It looks like I am going Sunday with at least Erin to see Team American again since she hasn't seen it yet. I'm assuming Michael and Laura will go too but if they don't that is ok too. I really need to get to work on putting together the rpg game I said I would run. I've been slacking off cause I haven't been able to think of a good storyline and cause I just haven't been able to consentrate on any one thing. I have lots to do around here, 3 games that are still fairly new, tons of anime to watch and even more tons of Warhammer figures to paint but I can't seem to make myself do anything lately. Oh well I'm sure this too will pass and I'll be putting all my focus on one thing or another soon enough.

Back from home

My trip home was very nice. I bought a digital camera, a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P41. Now I will have some pictures to save of all the trips I go on and all the get togethers I have. I've been feeling nausalgic lately and I wished I had more pictures of friends and family so now I will. I also ran into an old classmate from highschool, Jennifer. She is living near my dad now, so I will have to make sure I get in touch with her more the next time I visit home. It'll be nice to have a piece of my past near by and someone I can talk to about "the good old days". I also saw Team America with my brothers this weekend. It was funny! Go see it.

Home is where the heart is

I'm going home for the weekend. It's been almost 2 months since I have been to visit and it's way past due. I also called in sick today from work. I feel perfectly fine, other than being sick of work itself. I instead went out for several hours getting applications and turning them in. Right now it looks like Books-A-Million is a possiblity. They are about to start hiring for the Christmas rush and the lady told me that they usually end up hiring alot of those people that want too to stay on afterwards. So if it all works out then that is what I'll be doing. At least I'll have money coming in when I would be off of work because of Christmas break at Huntingdon. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks i should hear something from them.

I can't catch a break I swear

I didn't get the job. Brandau gave it to someone else that his boss knew cause we was "asked" to do it. So I'm still stuck in dining hell. Damnit my life sucks. When is it my turn? Where is my piece of happiness? I want a refund.

Still waiting

I should know by the end of the week whether I have the new job or not. I hope so cause i don't really want to be at Huntingdon any longer than I have too. Also I still want time to be able to get over to the new place and still be able to ask off of work for the two days in October that I had already gotten from Huntingdon off so I can go see Brannon's play. Also it still amazes me how stupid I can be sometimes. I guess it is just human to want what we can't have, and we never really truely know a good thing that we already have until it's gone. Well it's off to hell, I mean work soon so I'm gonna end this rant right about....now.

New Job?!

I have a job interview Monday about an opening at ALFA. I would be a cashier/ administrative assistant. The admin part would be the bigger part of the two. I'm 99% sure I will get it cause I used to work for the boss there and he contacted me about the job. So it's more or less a done deal. As for this weekend, I have work from 6am till 6:45 tomorrow and then watching the Auburn-Tennessee game afterwards, and then sunday I have to work from 7am till 3pm. Then it's a little rest and then cooking out that evening. Cookouts are becoming the only time I really get to see my friends, though with the new job my hours would match up better with everyone so I should be able to see people more often. Yet another plus to leaving Huntingdon.
